Determined not to give up a core group of tutors formed the cooperative to create a ‘new vision for music provision in Denbighshire’. DMC now boasts some 60 teacher members and holds 9 weekly ensembles and a Saturday morning music academy. The service is thriving and supporting other counties in Wales as further cuts to music occur.
