Deploy hangel to employee phones with Apple Business

• Your company needs an Apple Business account. You open it at business.apple.com; Apple verifies your organisation during sign-up.
• Your devices must be enrolled in Apple Business’s built-in device management or in a device management (MDM) solution you use.
• Getting apps through Apple Business is also available in Turkiye.

   Sign in

   Sign in at business.apple.com with an account that is allowed to manage apps.

   Get hangel licences

   In “Apps and books”, search for “hangel”, choose the number of licences you need and get them.

   Assign to devices

   In Devices > Blueprints, choose a Blueprint or create a new one, add hangel under Apps and save. hangel is installed on the devices linked to that Blueprint. When a licence is assigned to a device, the employee does not need an Apple Account.

   If you use another MDM

   Connect your Apple Business app licences to your MDM solution and assign hangel to devices from there.

Installing the app does not connect an employee to your company by itself. Your company needs a corporate account in hangel. Then:

• The employee opens hangel and signs up with their work email.
• An employee who signs up with the invitation link or QR code from your panel is connected to your company.
• If you have verified your company email domain in your panel, employees who sign up with that domain are offered the option to join your company; the employee confirms.
• Sharing volunteering details with the company is the employee’s choice and is off by default. While it is off, the company only sees anonymous totals.

To avoid wrong expectations, we also list what is not available today:

• Automatic connection to your company through device management (managed app configuration) is not available yet; each employee signs in once themselves.
• There is no separate company edition of hangel; your employees use the same app as on the App Store.

Institutions that use Apple School Manager can get hangel and assign it to devices in the same way. People aged 16 and over can join hangel.
