1. Purpose
To explain how we look after the quality of the training sessions, workshops, conferences and seminars held or announced on hangel, and what we do not claim in this area.
2. Scope
- training sessions and conferences organised by the International Social Benefit Association itself,
- training-type events created on hangel by organisations (NGOs, clubs, brands),
- guides and content in the hangel library.
3. Principles
- hangel does not accredit. hangel is not a school, an authorised examination centre or a certification body. Documents issued by hangel are certificates of attendance, contribution or achievement; they are not vocational qualifications.
- Accreditation comes from the partner. If a training is linked to an approved programme of an international organisation, approval is given by that organisation; hangel only forwards the application and follows the process. The interface uses the wording "<Partner>-approved programme".
- Measurable learning. A certificate is issued when the attendance and, where applicable, exam conditions of the training are met.
- Participants' voice. Participant feedback is the main tool for monitoring quality.
- Accessible training. Training content is prepared in line with the Accessibility Policy.
4. Roles and responsibilities
- Organisation running the training: responsible for the content, choice of trainers, attendance rule and exam questions.
- Speakers and trainers: go through the invitation and consent process and are responsible for the accuracy of their content.
- Super-admins: manage Certificate Network partners and review reports.
- Board of Directors (for the Association's own training): approves content and the choice of trainers.
5. How it works at hangel today
- Exam: The organiser can add a qualifying exam to an event. Questions, correct answers and the pass mark are kept only on the server. Default settings: pass mark 60%, up to 3 attempts, 60 seconds per question; the organiser can change them.
- Attendance rule: For online events, the organiser can choose "stay until halfway" or "stay until the end"; in rooms where attendance time can be measured (Oda and Meet meetings opened by hangel), participants who do not meet the threshold do not receive a certificate.
- Completion: The certificate is issued on the organiser's "Complete" confirmation and according to the check-in record.
- Speaker ratings: Participants rate speakers and write comments; an administrator can hide inappropriate comments. The speaker card shows only a summary and filtered comments.
- Speaker consent: A person added as a speaker to an event receives an invitation and does not appear in the speaker list until they accept.
- Certificate Network: If there is no partner organisation with a signed agreement, the accreditation section is not shown at all in the event creation screen.
6. Not yet in place and our goals
- There is no quality control process that reviews training content in advance; content is the responsibility of the organiser.
- We do not produce an annual platform-wide report on participant satisfaction and learning outcomes.
- There is no approval process that verifies trainers' qualifications; the planned trainer network has not been set up yet.
- There is no question bank or item analysis (statistics on hard/easy questions) for exams.
7. How to raise a concern
Complaints about training or a trainer: "Report" on the event in the app, or destek@hangel.org.
8. Review
At least once a year and when an agreement is reached with a new Certificate Network partner.
